Do you offer a fitting only service?
We can fit floors not supplied by ourselves although we prefer to supply and fit as all products supplied by us will have a full guarantee. We can also supply accessories, such as underlay and gripper. Please let us know your requirements and we will be pleased to quote.
Can exiting grippers be re-used for my new carpet?
Gripper can be re-used in many circumstances, although it is sometimes dependent on the thickness of the carpet. For example if your old carpet was thinner than your new carpet, there would be too big a gap between the skirting and the gripper, therefore not giving you that perfect finish.
Do you trim doors?
Yes we cut standard interior doors for a small additional cost.
Do you uplift old flooring and remove furniture?
Yes we can do both of these for a small additional fee.
Some companies offer free fitting, do you?
No we do not offer free fitting. Generally if free fitting is offered, the cost is often recovered through the costs of the materials you are buying. Our fitting charges are very competitive and our lack of overheads mean we are often cheaper than the bigger companies.
What happens if my floors are uneven?
We can check the condition of your flooring with damp meters. We can prime, screed or supply plyboard to level your existing flooring to give you the perfect finish.
Do you supply rugs and mats?
We do not sell rugs, however we can supply entrance coir matting which can be fitted to the floor along with your carpet/wood floor and comes in a variety of colours. It can easily be cut to your required size and comes in 1 or 2 metre widths.
